Overview

What NotBot does, when it prints, what it captures, and how every setting changes its behavior.

Last updated 2026-05-23 · Applies to NotBot 1.3.4+

NotBot is a desktop app that watches your livestream and prints buyer labels automatically when auctions, giveaways, and Buy It Now sales happen. In Every Item + Buyer mode, each new buyer gets a sequential number that stays the same for the entire show, so post-show packing is fast. Buyer Only mode also assigns numbers on auction wins, and on giveaways or Buy It Now sales depending on a couple of settings. Every Item mode prints item labels without buyer numbers.

These docs describe exactly how NotBot behaves: what it tracks from your stream, when it prints, what every setting changes, and what is supported on each platform.

What's covered

The sidebar on the left groups the documentation:

  • Get Started covers system requirements, install, sign in, printer setup, and your first label.
  • Core Features explains the three print modes, label sizes, what NotBot tracks from each platform, when NotBot decides to print, and the platform support matrix.
  • Reference documents every setting, the label designer, the dashboard, show history, the print queue, and account and billing.
  • Troubleshooting is a symptom-indexed guide for common issues.

What NotBot is not

  • Not a streaming app. You still go live on your platform (Whatnot, Poshmark Live, or eBay Live). Most sellers go live from a phone or tablet and run NotBot on a computer alongside. You can also go live from inside NotBot's built-in browser if you turn on camera and microphone access in Settings.
  • Not a shipping label printer. NotBot prints organization labels for sorting items by buyer during and after your show. It does not print USPS or carrier shipping labels.
  • Not affiliated with Whatnot, Poshmark, or eBay. NotBot is a third-party tool built by MellowTools that watches your stream. Whatnot is the primary supported platform. Poshmark Live and eBay Live are supported in beta. See Platform Support for details.
