Platform & Compatibility

Platform Support

Which platforms (Whatnot, Poshmark Live, eBay Live, District, TikTok Shop) and which operating systems are supported, and what works where.

Last updated 2026-08-25 · Applies to NotBot 1.3.21+ · Identical to the stable docs

NotBot watches livestream sales platforms and prints labels as events happen. This page is the complete reference for which platforms NotBot supports today and what works on each one.

Supported platforms

Platform Status Notes
Whatnot Live Full support. The platform NotBot was built for.
Poshmark Live Live Auctions, giveaways, bids, and chat are tracked. Buy It Now and payment-failure events are not exposed by Poshmark's live feed.
eBay Live Live Auctions, bids, chat, and listing snapshots are tracked. Giveaways, Buy It Now, and payment-failure events are not exposed by eBay's live feed.
District Beta Auction wins, Buy It Now purchases, bids, and chat are tracked. Giveaway support is not in this release.
TikTok Shop Planned Not yet built. No timeline.

NotBot detects which platform you are watching by the URL in its built-in browser. Navigate to Whatnot, Poshmark, eBay, or District and NotBot picks up the right show feed. You can keep multiple platform tabs open, but only one tab is the active show at a time. See When NotBot Prints for active-tab behavior.

Feature parity across platforms

This matrix shows what NotBot tracks from each platform's live feed. "Yes" means the platform exposes the event and NotBot tracks it. "No" means the platform doesn't publish that event, so NotBot has nothing to track.

Notes:

  • "Not in live feed" means the platform does not publish that event on its live stream, so there is nothing for NotBot to track. This is a platform limitation, not a NotBot gap. We document it here so the matrix matches reality.
  • Beta means the platform is supported and works in development testing, but full real-world reliability is still being validated. Treat these as production-quality for one-tab shows. If you stream simultaneously across multiple platforms, expect the occasional missed event until the beta tag is removed.
  • "Not supported" means NotBot does not track that event on District today. These did not appear in the traffic we studied while building District support, so we have not modelled them. That is a statement about what NotBot handles, not a claim about what District publishes.
  • "Not in this release" means NotBot does not track the event yet. Giveaway draws on District fall here: no giveaway event turned up in the traffic we studied, so giveaway printing is not part of the beta.

Operating system parity

NotBot is the same app on Mac and Windows. Every customer-facing feature is supported on both.

Feature macOS 12+ Windows 10/11
Auto-update from stable or beta channel Yes Yes
All three print modes Yes Yes
All five label sizes Yes Yes
Custom paper sizes Yes Yes
Native thermal printer support Yes Yes
Label designer Yes Yes
Print queue and verifier Yes Yes
Tray icon Yes Yes

District

Beta. Auction wins and Buy It Now purchases print the same way they do on Whatnot, and bids and chat feed the dashboard the same way (neither has ever printed a label on any platform). Giveaway draws are not part of this release, so a District giveaway will not print a label. Accepted offers, payment-failure events, and pinned shop listings are not tracked either. Treat District the way you would any beta platform: run it as your one active tab and check the print queue after the show until the beta tag comes off.

TikTok Shop

Planned. Not yet implemented. There is no public timeline. Email support if you want to register interest.
